Meet Alaska

Hello! I’m Alaska, the owner of Pup Trails and a passionate pet photographer based in Rye, East Sussex. Working as a dog walker since 2022 has given me the privilege of spending my days with so many wonderful animals, and that’s where my love for capturing them on camera truly began.

It all started with snapping photos of the dogs I walked; muddy paws, goofy smiles, and those little moments of pure happiness. Pet parents loved seeing their pets’ personalities shine through, and that’s when I realised just how special these photos could be.

My aim is simple: to create natural, heartfelt images that capture your pet exactly as they are - their quirks, their character, and the bond you share. Whether it’s a playful puppy session on the beach, a relaxed family portrait, or a gentle end-of-life shoot, I make sure every experience is calm, fun, and stress-free for both you and your pet.

Lewie, my Rottweiler x Lurcher, has been my biggest inspiration (and often my most patient model!). Growing up surrounded by animals taught me that every pet has their own story — and my goal is to tell it through photos you’ll treasure forever.
